Francophile Friday: Life is Good

Amazing and sweet Grandpa - over at Life on the Farm- has bestowed me with the Life is Good Award. And you know what? I suppose it is. In fact, lately it's been really good. And I've got something to say on the subject. For those of you who have been feeling down, or have been going through personal turmoil, the storm clouds will pass. I don't know when or how, but they will. Believe me; I know. So maybe "The Secret" really does work? Because when I got rid of all the negativity in my life, including some anger I held in my heart, amazing things began to happen...

a) I found my Prince Charming, married him, and moved to France...
b) where I've been blessed with two beautiful and, for the most part*, well-behaved step-kids who don't think of me as a monster, but as a friend
c) I rekindled relationships with a few lost lost friends

*They are eleven and thirteen.

Of course, I haven't shared my biggest news yet. For that, you'll have to wait until February 15th! Until then, all I can say on the subject is, indeed, life is good. Well, that, and I'm passing this award (and some virtual sparkles) along to:

The Manic Chef

Creepy Query Girl

Angela Felsted

LettuceHead

and

Flying High in the Sky

To tie in Francophile Friday, I'll leave you with Antoine de Saint-Exupery, author of The Little Prince.

"A single event can awaken within us a stranger totally unknown to us. To live is to be slowly born.
"

"On ne voit bien qu'avec le cœur. L'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux."
(One sees clearly only with the heart. Anything essential is invisible to the eyes.)

Never give up on your dreams!

Gros bisous et bon weekend!
