Another reason to love France (or things you won't find in Malibu)

Situated one hour north from my town is the beautiful and breathtaking medieval village of Cordes Sur Ciel. Built in the 1200's, famed author Albert Camus once said, “In Cordes, everything is beautiful, even regret."

The Frog, his tadpoles and I discovered its rustic streets this past Sunday, meandering steep inclines on the way up and stopping for homemade crepes on the way down. Well, the kids had crepes. I had a sinfully delicious chocolate mousse dessert called "Tentation" – Temptation. Yeah, yeah, a moment on the lips, a lifetime...of pure ecstasy.

Camus, I agree. Regret can be be beautiful. And tasty. Nom. Nom. Nom.

The best Foie Gras comes from North of Toulouse, the countryside known for its gastronomy.

I found this village deeply inspiring. Has anything beautiful inspired you as of late?
